Hello, My name is Peter Hordylan and I am a freelance editor with over 13 years experience using both
Avid & Final Cut Pro edit systems in both SD & HD formats. I am currently booked until the end of October on Season
2 of CTV’s “So You Think You Can Dance Canada”.
I am an excellent off-line editor who can be
trusted to work either unsupervised or with a creative producer or director. I am a team leader in organizing a post-production
department including hiring a staff, logistics and creative for any major television show or series. In addition to my off-lining
skills, I am also an accomplished on-line editor. According to my past clients I am an excellent Colour Corrector on any Avid
Symphony product.
I have edited entire seasons of reality programs, long format episodes, documentaries, field
segments, scripted programs, commercials and promos as an off-line and on-line editor. Additional skills include compositing,
audio mixing, 2D animating & compression for the web. I own my own Avid and Final Cut Pro edit system, but will work on
equipment provided by your production as well.
